pricing and availability as a massage therapist

I am licensed as a massage therapist by the state of Arizona and I am a member of AMTA. You can verify me here on the Arizona Board of Massage Therapy's web-site.

I operate my private practice as a massage therapist out of a private room for massage in my house in Mesa, AZ. Alternatively, I am also typically willing to travel to your house; an additional travel fee will apply to cover the time it takes to pack everything up + gas + transit time.

Swedish, therapeutic and deep tissue, reflexology, sports massage, pregnancy, energy work, lymphatic, and La Stone geothermal therapy (ie, hot stone). Of course, I will always tailor your massage to your needs.

I specialise in addressing chronic pain, especially the musculoskeletal components. I am particularly familiar with EDS, general hypermobility, and fibromyalgia.

  • $50/1 hour
  • $75/1.5 hour
  • $85/hot stone - 1.5 hour appt

The travel fee:

  • within 15mi of my house is a flat $10.
  • anything farther than 15mi from my house is $1/mi additional.

If, for example, you're 30mi away, the travel fee would be $25 -- $10 flat (the first 15mi) + $15 ($1/mi x 15 mi).

The travel fee is per trip rather than per appointment. If you want me to come to your place and work on two different people back-to-back the travel fee only applies once.

I am also happy to take the hot stones on the road, but I will ask you to boil a large pot of water in advance of my arrival so we can get the stones up to temperature quickly.

I am located a little bit east of downtown Mesa.

If you want me to come to you, there obviously needs to be somewhere with room enough for me to set up my massage table -- it doesn't need to be a private room, necessarily, that's up to you; you will, of course, be covered at all times by the sheets except for the areas currently being worked on. But the massage table is about seven feet long and three feet wide and I do need to be able to walk around it.

I can be contacted to schedule an appointment via email (ftfisher@gmail.com) or private message here on Dreamwidth.

If you have an idea of what, if any, particular issues you are looking to address with massage therapy, please let me know when you contact me. Also, if you have any conditions or injuries, letting me know in advance is better. (It gives me a chance to do any relevant research!)
